A republic is a system of government which had an elected head of state by the people.A republic therefore is democratic which is the best form of administration i.e government of the people,by the people and,for the people. A state as Nigeria is a copy of a federal Republic and so its name is being designed as "Federal Democratic Republic".but is a republican government practicable in a frustrated nation as Nigeria?Thats a big question. In truth,Nigeria is a great state but her leaders have succeeded in making it one piece of nonsence;for it is the copability of the government to regalvanize and rejuvinize the economic and political sector of the country. A country endowed with special grace of mineral and human resources indeed so shameful has abandon her natural monuments to waste rather than being tended.This pitiable dysmal pysmal and regretably lugubrious phenomenon is exarcebed by the corrusive grasping tendensies of our political leaders causing quagmire.the few natural monuments sourced from the ground to provide us with income i.e petroleum are mismanaged by our political leaders.This so called leaders clandinestinely syphon our scarce resources abroad for their self-gain. Their egocentricity has surruptitious affected a vast majority of Nigerians in that,they believe all is well when it is not. We hear of "fuel subsidy removal";how? Can the subsidy of fuel be removed in a country that is the 8th oil producer in the world? Where those this fuel come from that is removed subsidy? Is it not from our own petroleum? And ignorance will never allow us to understand how this rich politicians use us. Nothing is more dangerous than sheer ignorance and conscientious stupidity. We hear of ASUU strikes,Is that suppose to be possible or does that happen in other states? Only in Nigeria. What has the populace which whom the constitution bestow political sovereignty done to calm this predicaments? None. We keep on wallowing in our frustration because we have bread to eat while the enviroment of our country lies dilapitated,our economy going down,our politics full of venomous vituperations and acrimony,educat ion at its death call and medicine(hospit als) lacking services. All of us can dodge our responsibilitie s but we cannot dodge the consequencies of our irresponsibilit ies and antecedents. Democracy is the best form of government but it cannot be workable in Nigeria.Aristoc racy(government ruled by the most noble figures e.g lawyers,doctors e.t.c) is the system of administration sutable for a country as Nigeria.Let us therefore not relax with hope because hope is not the weapon but prayer,for with God all things are possibble so prayer is the beacon of hope.
