A research was conducted in makurdi metropolis by Aernyi. T. Benjamin to know the rate of rice consumption on X-mas day and other days, in conducting this research work, l used quasi-experimental design. The target population is the entire households within makurdi metropolis but due to lack of financial capital and Governor Gabriel Torwua Suswam tention in the state, hundred households was randomly selected from the entire population using simple random sampling technique. Questionnaire test was used as instruments and a senior lecturer of statistics education did the validation of the instruments. I visited the households and administered the questionnaire test to the various respondents in the selected households. From the result obtained used 0.5 level of significant, l concluded that there is a significant difference between x-mas day and other days rate of rice consumption.
