A sad day today as we said goodbye to our friends in Ochadamu. Before departure Dennis, Hazel, Lauren & Steven had their first experience of Nigerian surgery at the eye clinic (Steven went a bit pale but thankfully didn’t hit the floor, and Lauren will never go near an eye surgeon again...even if she’s the patient!). A safe journey to Abuja but those who slept missed one or two hairy moments. Checked into the lovely Baptist Guesthouse, a visit to the Craft Market & an amazing meal at Dunes (Joe & Jason are the happiest they’ve been on discovering tins of Boost for sale) has rounded up our trip to Nigeria. Last leg of the journey tomorrow then back to our own beds tomorrow night.
