A scene from Apur Sansar , the world of Apu. The main character of the movie, Apu is a writer, a poet, a dreamer whose life from early childhood was nothing but struggle. Throughout those struggles, he, and his spirit was not broken. He was writing a autobiographical novel when he suddenly lost his wife. He then destroyed his manuscript which was his life-work.by scattering those in a valley..., One can see this scene as just a sad scene, but as sad it is, there is something else one can also feel, which is: nothing is actually and entirely lost. Apus manuscript, his pain, love, joy of life were accepted by the best audiences that one can ever have in Life and Death...the Nature, the wind, the trees, the sky, the mountain and the valley, where he scattered the story of his life. They will know and hide all of his secrets within them forever with love and care...His two hands were stretched like an offering to the Nature, to the mysterious, unforgiving, beautiful Nature who took everyone away from him and at last then may be his manuscript should be in her bosom as well. To me best movies in the world really do not need any language and yet they all do have a language which we all understand and which is the best language in the world.
