A school Is so called our second home but what if that institution youre calling your home doesnt recognize you being part of it. I just realized today that private schools only wants two things our money and their reputation to shine, they dont give a damn on what we feel most especially students from the under represented and marginalized sector. Its a shame that still discrimination In an academe is still present until now, why study the schools vision and mission also its core values well in fact the school itself could not even stand on what they are saying on us. Why listen, why follow and why be a part of it. Practice what you preach, Ive entered college as a law abiding student but as the years passed by I was awakened that the persons you look-up to the persons you respect and you admire are all sugar coated imbeciles, quite disappointing right?? But what really drives me on doing my advocacy is even educated people could not understand basic human rights. RESPECT is the right word for them. Your policies are subjective, but come think of it would those created policies would be a big help to the ones being affected by it. I guess not. Here I am stuck in a system wherein the golden rule applies he who has gold makes the rules nevertheless Im one year away from graduating and leaving the academe, I hope that before that happens their will be change and wake up calls to those people who are inflicting discrimination oppression and harassment. But Ill keep that request a dream for an institution like where Im studying is hard to break free from that kind of a unethical acts
