A secret ingredient is a component of a product that is closely guarded from public disclosure for competitive advantage. Sometimes the ingredient makes a noticeable difference in the way a product performs, looks or tastes; other times it is used for advertising puffery. Secret ingredients are normally not patented because that would result in publication, but they are protected by trade secret laws. .I worked very hard on the technique I use for my rustic furniture...I learned by trial and error. So please if you are going to get MAD when I wont give my product away for free (my technique is my product) ..feel free to delete yourself. If you are on here just to take my ideas and learn how I do things...you arent planning on buying from us anyway or at least supporting us... My husband and I bust our As doing what we do and I should not be expected to just give away my painting technique. Do what all the other people do and look on youtube or google it or do what I did and teach yourself. Its not fair to be mad at me when I am trying to support 2 little girls ...a year ago we got into financial difficulty and SOLD everything we owned to make our house payment and keep our cars...so I refuse to give away something I hold so valuable to my family. Yes I dont mind giving tips on a few things here and there and I will have classes on some things... but I would be a complete idiot to just give away something that is a staple in my business that I put sweat, tears, and time away from my girls to learn...why should you just get it for free.. its not fair... I am a very very nice person and I hope that you all will understand...but if not ..I guess I am in the wrong business anyway...RANT OVER :( I dont expect all of you to buy things I am glad you are here and we appreciate your support alone!!! But I dont want people on here for their personal gain...I try to help other businesses when I can...but not like this. Thank you to all of you who are so sweet and supporting of us :)
