A seminar on Alzheimer’s and dementia is being hosted by the Friends of the Clifton Park–Halfmoon Public Library and the Alzheimer’s Association (Northeastern New York Chapter). The seminar is free to the public and are being held at the Clifton Park-Halfmoon Public Library, 475 Moe Road. At 7 p.m., Nov. 19, “Holiday Hints for Caregivers” will be held in in meeting rooms C and D. This program will discuss how to better manage responsibilities during the busy holiday season so that the experience can be as positive as possible for you and your loved one with Alzheimer’s disease. A minimum of five attendees is needed to hold each program, so registration is required. To register, call the Clifton Park-Halfmoon Public Library at 518-371-8622. Registration for individual sessions is also available on the library website at cphlibrary.org/events; go to the calendar for the month of the seminar you wish to attend; locate the date and the title of the seminar you wish to attend; and register.
