A serious but important subject for today...would you be able to recognize the warning signs of cancer in your pet? Ive seen statistics state as high as 50% of pets over 10 years old will get some type of cancer - crazy right? Even if it is not really quite that high, it is still the number one disease-related killer of pets. This hit home for me as my own little angel, nearly 10-year-old Westie Boyd, was diagnosed with tumors in his lung and abdomen. While Boyds condition does not have a viable treatment, many pets with cancer can be treated effectively, especially if diagnosed early. No one knows your pet as well as you do, so you will be the first to notice the early warning signs that may well save the life of your pet!
