A slight risk of severe weather for the Florida parishes today, and for the metro area tomorrow. Also tomorrow a moderate risk for severe storms across S MS. Most models are indicating only a slight chance for much rainfall in the metro area and SE LA, let alone severe weather. However, never let your guard down with any threat. If we are going to see anything, it looks to be overnight and early tomorrow. Some showers possible later today as well as some rain tomorrow. We begin to dry out by Wednesday with lots of sunshine to wrap up the week and into the weekend with a bit of a cool down! Highs temps today and tomorrow in the 80s with strong winds.
