A slope is the racist term the Americans used for the indo-Chinese people they were bombing into oblivion. Like gook, it is revoltingly loaded and I hope that, if the BBC do nothing meaningful about Clarksons racism, then Somi De Souza (Somi Guha) wins her case. I doubt she intends making a million bucks for herself — if being hit in the wallet is the only way to make the BBC think about their casual racism, then so be it. Id had enough of them around the time Sherlock and The Blind Banker heaped a load of hatred on Chinese people. EDIT: What the Mail fails to mentions, the million quid is to go to the Steven Lawrence Foundation and Bethnal Geen tube disaster memorial trust.
