A small story The first time that I went to a big event with electronic dance music was called Geronikas dance night in my neighbourhood. Bringing over a variety of music styles my heart was quickly set on that with a phatter beat and a faster paste - the first track I ever heard that came across as something special to me was: Part of the Hard by none other than D-Block & S-te-Fan. A few years back I lost my nephew due to ilness in a really quickly manner - over a few weeks time he went from good health to death and it shook up my world completely. I found comfort and love in the track The sound of goodbye by DBSTF. Now a few weeks ago my aunt died and again I found comfort in a track that lifted up my spirit. Again it was a track by DBSTF & Blasterjaxx (my non-hardstyle icons.) Ive been gifted the opportunities to host bost of these deejays several times now and Ive never (but I do mean NEVER) have felt so alive and appreciative of life then at the moments I was hosting their sets. DBSTF - will always be my first reason why I fell in love with hardstyle - everytime I hear a track of them - I feel the emotion and the love/work that they put in it. Thanks guys for letting me host you so much - for me its something incredible. Blasterjaxx - a big up to you for inviting me to your event Maxximize - for having your support and for the friendship.
