A solid aging rock, ever changing as the river runs, sitting in time, the river never stops, solid and strong, the river weighs a ton, I am a rock, the river is a turn of the clock, weighing a ton with stress,pain and love. molding you a way, only seen by above, the rock will see different seasons, calm and mild, the withering winds, to the extreme harshness of nature, when it goes wild, the current will cause the rock to be sculpted uniquely, the rock represents a part of me, one that has changed over time, as the currents passed us by, when you look in the mirror, sometimes you think, boy does time fly, but you know everyday, the current taught you a new thing, whether if it was from love or pain, at least you know, you’d be ready for tomorrows weather, even if it brings the rain……..
