A special family friend who is very near and dear to my heart passed away last night. She touched many of our lives and inspired many of us not to give up, even when things got tough. She truly was an inspiration to most of us. To me she was like a second mom, she was there whenever I needed her, she would speak her mind, which sometimes would give me a wakeup call because she always said it how it was and didn’t beat around the bush to get her point across. She was very straight forwarded and listened to me when I was at my weakest points in life. This is what I needed at the time and I am glad that she never lied to me or tried to accept my wrongdoings. She would let me know when I was doing wrong and I respect her for that. This lady is truly an angel and I am very glad to say that I am one of many who got to know her. I grew up with her family and look at them as my own family. Please take a moment and say a prayer for their family. I know I did and I will continue to pray for them and be there for them if or when they need me. This goes out to a wonderful mother, daughter, friend and angel, I miss you more than I can express in words and love you more than you can ever imagine. Norma you mean the world to me and we will meet up again one day when the time is right. I look forward to seeing your gorgeous smile and talking about the good old days. Don’t change who you are because you have always been beautiful to me. I cry often because you’re not around, but I know you will be there for me when I see you again. Love you always and forever.
