A special thanks to everyone who attended the SJAFSA Reunion 2014, especially to those that drove or flew from other states. On behalf of the entire SJAFSA family, we say thank you very much. Another big thank you to the hard working men and women who contributed their time, effort and money to make the program a success. They include: Robert M. Greene, Tony Watson, Moibah Sirleaf, Charline Knuckles, Oyeti Hoskins, Daniel Keith Dennis, Sylvia Dehwon Hookes- Gbor, Lussane Sackor, Munah Wolo Teah, Charles Kweme (DC K ZY), and myself (Selo Musa) Please note that we have decided to take a number of actions to help us accomplish the objectives of this organization. 1. There will be NO reunion in 2015. The next Reunion will be in 2016. Keep a look out for an online poll to determine the next host state. 2. There will however be fund raising events and community volunteering by members in various states. These may include but not limited to, benefit concerts, soccer (sports) tournaments, etc. Contact planning committee for more info. 3. The SJAFSA Scholarship Award program to kick off as early as the Spring of next year, 2015. Application to be available soon. We continue to encourage everyones involvement. Together we can do extraordinary things. It takes a lot more effort if a few people are shouldering the burden of the organization. Please continue to follow us on stjeansafsa.org and Facebook.
