A stalled front bisecting the Baltimore and Washington D.C. region will dissipate later Tuesday afternoon, but not before initiating additional shower and thunderstorm activity from near the I-81 corridor and areas east to the Chesapeake Bay Tuesday morning. The main concern will be occasional lightning and heavy rainfall. Even at this hour early Tuesday morning, rainfall rate estimates with the heaviest activity is 1.50 to 2 inches per hour. This activity is over central portions of Harford County.
