A statement that should let you think about #ISIS, #AlQaida or other groups who are abusing, maybe unintended the Islam! If someone is beaten in a battle, you have to stop and arrest him. At the time of our Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) were a lot of prisoners who accepted the Islam or who were useful for the Islamic community. Especially at that time there were a lot of Muslims who couldnt read or write. So Muhammad (pbuh) demanded of a prisoner to teach 10 Muslims to read and write. When they reached this goal they were released. Is there any reason or is it necessary to kill even the enemy is defeated? Why we couldnt act diplomatic and jail them? And when there isnt a jail, then they have to organize one. It isnt the aim of Islam to kill or to scare the world! Maybe you will hate or unfollow me now, but this is my opinion. Respect it, you dont have to accept. Comment your opinion in a appropriate way. Hopefully we will get a sensible discussion. Look what our prophet sais: Volume 005, Book 059, Hadith Number 354. ------------------------------------ Narated By Ubaidullah bin Adi bin Al-Khiyar : That Al-Miqdad bin Amr Al-Kindi, who was an ally of Bani Zuhra and one of those who fought the battle of Badr together with Allahs Apostle told him that he said to Allahs Apostle, Suppose I met one of the infidels and we fought, and he struck one of my hands with his sword and cut it off and then took refuge in a tree and said, I surrender to Allah (i.e. I have become a Muslim), could I kill him, O Allahs Apostle, after he had said this? Allahs Apostle said, You should not kill him. Al-Miqdad said, O Allahs Apostle! But he had cut off one of my two hands, and then he had uttered those words? Allahs Apostle replied, You should not kill him, for if you kill him, he would be in your position where you had been before killing him, and you would be in his position where he had been before uttering those words. I and an Ansari man followed a man from among them and when we took him over, he said, La ilaha illal-Lah. On hearing that, the Ansari man stopped, but I killed him by stabbing him with my spear. When we returned, the Prophet came to know about that and he said, O Usama! Did you kill him after he had said La ilaha ilal-Lah? I said, But he said so only to save himself. The Prophet kept on repeating that so often that I wished I had not embraced Islam before that day.(See also Saheeh Bukhari, Volume 009, Book 083, Hadith Number 011 & Saheeh Muslim, Book 001, Hadith Numbers 0176, 0177 & 0178)
