(A story of muslims ) : An Arab ship was carrying a party of Muslims from Ceylon to Mecca for the pilgrim of Hajj.The ship was attracted by the sea robbers from Debul.a sea port in sind.They looted it and carried away many Muslim women and children.This sad news reached Hajjaj-bin-Yusuf.The Governor of Iraq.He became vary angry when he heard what had happened and sent a messenger to Raja Dahir,the ruler of sind.He asked him to return the Muslim women and children and to promise that he would not allow the people of Debul to repeat their action.Raja Dahir sent a cold reply to this massage.Hajjaj was angry when he received this reply and decided to teach this proud king a good lesson.He choose his nephew Muhammad bin-Quashim and sent him to sind at the head of 12000 Arab soldiers.In sind a head battle look place.Raja Dahir was killed and his army was completely defeated.
