A sudden change of plans! I wont be at TNNA next week. Ill be traveling instead to be with my daughter Aunna in WA who is having surgery. But I will be with Sundance Designs in spirit, and hope to have daily updates about the show. Here is my new design which will be displayed by Sundance. It is the mermaid who owns my other design...The Mermaids Chandelier. I am unsure of what to call her. Any suggestions? I am so excited that this canvas is the perfect vehicle for highlighting some new metal embellishments by Sundance Designs. The ones Im using are leaves and flowers, but they look like sea weed and underwater plant life to me in this setting. Im also going to be applying some rafia that Sundance is bringing back into their line. Years ago, they had this rafia that they sold when they had their needlepoint shop. It is so versatile...lovely colors..can be manipulated to be thick or thin. Cant wait to stitch with it on this piece along with some of my Retro Ribbons for the sea weed. Ill post a second photo when I get that part finished. In the mean time...hope you enjoy and tell your LNS if you want them to order it! (by Barbara Botticelli Elmore! LOL!)
