A superb version of the John Lennon classic by Brenda, with an excellent arrangement by Col Loughnan (Ayers Rock) & produced by Rod Coe (Carson La De Das, Saints) & ex-Freshwater. Many on this page may recall Brenda when she was Brenda Glover & sang out front for Aesops Fables (&/or Jet Set) .This was Brendas first solo single under her new name, which I distinctly recall seeing her perform on Happening 72 &/or Hit Scene (or both) at the time as it was my first exposure to her great blues tinged voice.. Others will recall she had a hit a couple of years later after moving to RCA in 1974, with Touch the Wind (Eres Tu)
