A sweatshirt was needed as I had coffee on the deck. A cool 54 degrees was reading on the thermometer. I LOVE cool weather! Yesterday was a busy one for office work and a trip to town with Jacob for feed. I had put a pork loin in the crock pot for dinner and by 3pm it smelled delicious! Both littles were here for dinner with us and entertained us throughout the meal. We enjoyed the home grown sweet corn that Kevin picked from our patch. He and Alyson made a trip to several neighbors down our road delivering corn, something Kevin loves to do when it gets ready. A trip to pick Jacob up from football found the two of them laughing as they pulled in the drive. Oh how Grandpa loves his boy! We took extra time doing chores and Alyson rode Sophie. The air was crisp and cool, quite a treat from the hot humid weather we have been having. I am running a few errands then mowing this afternoon. I plan on enjoying this beautiful day and hope you can do the same. “I remember something my mom said after my father died. ‘You have a choice.
