A thought: I believe there is an awakening taking place in the church and it so vital that we stay tuned to the what the Holy Spirit is saying this hour to the Bride His Church. Masses of people who are in desperation for a deliverer who will rescue them from their bondages their prison cells, and ruins, do we hear their desperate cries? This is not a practice drill to see if we hit the mark of that desperate cry, this is it, we are in the front lines, we should be suited in the amour of God through His grace. It is time to dig deeper, and seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all things will be added to you. And this is not a practice drill, this should be more real to us than the life we now live. This is serious business because it is Gods business. God is not a jack in the box and when we need him we wine the box and out comes God, No, the work of the Kingdom of God is very serious, dare we treat His gifts and His word with any disrespect heaven forbid. Peoples lives are in stake, we dont dare treat this as nothing but a practice drill. The time of microwave Christian is over, look around you, read and see the signs of the time we are living in, we hear and see what is happening over seas and other nations and we say oh that does not affect me because I am not there, nothing could be further from the truth. Take a close look at what is happening here in the USA. I am not a doom and gloom preacher but I believe His word. I will take a stand for His word and nothing else. Roman 12: 15Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep. When the Bride is being persecuted in any given place is should affect us, they are a part of us His Bride. Joel 2: 17- 18 gather the people, sanctify the congregation, Assemble the elders, Gather the children and the nursing infants. Let the bridegroom come out of his room And the bride out of her bridal chamber. Let the priests, who minister before the LORD, weep between the portico and the altar. Let them say, Spare your people, LORD. Do not make your inheritance an object of scorn, a byword among the nations. Why should they say among the peoples, Where is their God? This is a time to cry out to God, 2 Chronicles 7:14 if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. This is serious and what is happening around us is serious, what is happening to our brethren is serious. I read something that grieved my spirit when I read it, let practice prophesying, this is not a game we play like monopoly, did Daniel, Ezekiel , Isaiah, Jeremiah and all the other prophets do this? No they either heard from God or they didnt, God is not a lose gun, and shoots to see if maybe He will hit the mark, No, no, no He will always hit the mark when it is Him. We should treat prophesy with fear and trembling in respect to the attributes and Holiness of God. A reminder to all of us Ezekiel 3: …17Son of man, I have appointed you a watchman to the house of Israel; whenever you hear a word from My mouth, warn them from Me. 18When I say to the wicked, You will surely die, and you do not warn him or speak out to warn the wicked from his wicked way that he may live, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity, but his blood I will require at your hand. 19Yet if you have warned the wicked and he does not turn from his wickedness or from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered yourself. This should make us really seek God before we say anything. People lives are in stake, this is somethings for all of us if we are sent to teach people how to prophesy teach them first how to hear His voice first. How to press in through prayer, praise and worship to Him. We need to stop creating microwave Christian, and begin to teach them through the grace of God how to be disciple of Christ, yes I have told you these things, Jesus said so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world. We have His support in the midst of a crushing force and vehement hostility of the world Psalm 46:2-4 2 For this reason we do not fear when the earth shakes, and the mountains tumble into the depths of the sea, 2 Therefore will we not fear, though the earth do change, And though the mountains be shaken into the heart of the seas; 3 when its waves crash and foam, and the mountains shake before the surging sea. (Selah) 3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, Though the mountains tremble with the swelling thereof. Selah 4 The rivers channels bring joy to the city of God, the special, glad holy dwelling place of the sovereign One. We have peace because we have Faith in Him That what He promised He will do. My people are destroyed for perish lack of knowledge. And it take faith to apply that knowledge, and a real action in our part. For example if you have a gas leak in your car are you going to patch it with a rag? Will it stop the leak? Are you going to torch the welder with out cleaning and airing out the fumes youll have an explosion in your hands and you are a goner for sure. No you take it to a professional who know how to handle and patch the leak. Mark 2: 21No one sews a patch of unshrunk cloth on an old garment; otherwise the patch pulls away from it, the new from the old, and a worse tear results. 22No one puts new wine into old wineskins; otherwise the wine will burst the skins, and the wine is lost and the skins as well; but one puts new wine into fresh wineskins. We need to teach Christian the need to cry out to God, and they shall hear Him, teach them to allow God to rip the old wineskin of all there vain Philosophies and ways of thinking and how they view God, and allow Him to replace the old wineskin with the new one so that He can pour New wine, and what we prophesy should confirm what The Lord is saying and dealing with them about. There is a purpose for prophesying the word of The Lord. Joel 2: 17 Let the priests, who minister before the LORD, weep between the portico and the altar. Let them say, Spare your people, LORD. I Peter 2: But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, Gods special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. This should be a conviction: Joel 1:13 Get dressed and lament, you priests! Wail, you who minister at the altar! Come, spend the night in sackcloth, you servants of my God, because no one brings grain offerings or drink offerings to the temple of your God anymore. Are we the remnant that will press in at all cost, are we the ones who will change history, through His grace and leading? After all John 15: 5 I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. Time to wake up!
