A thought for ending the Thanksgiving week! Psalm 34:1 I will bless the LORD at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. No matter what your circumstance is during this season, give a prayer of thanksgiving to Him today! We are All needy for Him! Psalms 86:1 Incline Your ear, O Lord, and answer me; For I am afflicted and needy. How often are we needy with God? 24/7! We need Him at ALL times of life! For God to hear us, we must come humbly to Him, with us seeing our deep need for His intervention! We must humbly admit our desperate(constantly 100% of our days) need of His help. When we do, Christ Himself humbles himself down to the point of hearing our prayers and being our Intercessor/Mediator! Let us join together in prayer for others, and also pass on our requests to others for Gods glory! 2 Corinthians 1:10c-11 And He will yet deliver us, you also joining in helping us through your prayers, so that thanks may be given by many persons on our behalf for the favor bestowed on us through the prayers of many. How beautiful is this?! The more people praying over a situation, the more thanks AND glory can be given to Christ! If 2 peoples prayers are answered He is able to get 2 thanks from people with prayers being answered, BUT what if we pass our prayer requests to others OR what if we love one another by praying more for one another, so that when He works He is able to get MANY MORE THANKS!
