A thought on Joe being chosen one of the best high school lacrosse players in the state..... This is a kid who has had the heart of a race horse since the day he was born. He has a drive to win, he has talent, he has guts, he has phenomenal work ethic and he has a will to succeed. He struggled to find his niche for many years in various sports, simply because the grown ups in charge could not see beyond his size. The struggle only made him stronger and now, here he is.....one of the very best around. So, for all of you moms and dads who cry right along with them when they arent given a chance because of a preconceived notion that the little guy wont do as well......hang in there!!! And a shout-out to one grown-up, in particular, who was always wise enough to see beyond the size limitation to the heart beneath it......thank you Greg Taylor for being a wise man. A mom never forgets those who show confidence in her children.
