A thought on Justice Roberts and the first Obamacare decision.I see the claim that his decision was the result of blackmail often and find the notion distressing, defamatory and without any evidentiary basis whatsoever. I was as disappointed as anyone in the Obamacare decision, but I consider Roberts an honorable man who did what he thought best considering his philosophy of not substituting the judiciarys role for that of the legislature. You are, of course, entitled to your opinion but I find the notion slanderous, and believe Robert would have recused himself had anyone attempted to blackmail him.
