A totally new Vijay in Jilla Vijays nickname in the movie would be Jilla and he has a very street-smart and sarcastic character. The movie is mainly about the relationship between Vijay and Mohanlal and it would have all elements that fans generally expect out of a Vijay movie such as comedy, action and sentiments. When I wrote the story, Mohanlal wasnt in my mind but it suddenly struck me that Mohanlal can indeed be part of this script. Vijay also liked my suggestion and asked me to approach the actor. Lal liked my script narration and his role has turned out in a very realistic manner.
