A tourist from the united kingdom just checked out 3 days early and this is why. This is from his own mouth. On friday sept 13 he got kicked off a horse in monument valley by a dog chasing the horse. After he fell the dog attacked him. He broke his arm in 3 places and was bleeding from dog bites. The employee on duty called the company headquarters and no one was there because the owners mother had died the week before and they were at her funeral so he had no choice but to call search and rescue in kayenta over 2 hours away Because of the small box canyon helicoptor could not fit so 2 hour later an ambulance showed up. On the way to the hospital the ambulance ran out of gas. So they waited 2 hours for gas to arrive. At the hospital they preped him for surgery. Just minutes before it began they said insurance does not cover and they had to fly home to england. So they left monument valley and drove to my hotel. On the way they crashed the rental car hitting a deer So they cut short there dream trip and fly home tommorow. Just thought I would post that in case you thought you had it bad
