He became known among fans and teammates as Pastor Fernando because he gave tribute to JESUS after every goal, and he would always run up to the stands to kiss his wife and child. Fernando is a citizen of Venezuala, as well as Portugal, and he was capped 30 times for Venezuela. Now Fernando (38) is the senior pastor of Moflata Misjonskirke in Skien.
