A true detective story caught my eye. A woman met and married the man of her dreams and couldn’t believe her luck. He was handsome and otherwise physically attractive. Soon after marriage and two children he became abusive. Eventually he was convicted of being the Abbotsford serial rapist and a murderer. He also victimized his wife and children with shame and a devastated family life. He is now convicted as a dangerous offender and will never be released. I feel so blessed that my eternal mate had so much beauty and love within. I hope everyone will consider what is within before choosing their eternal mate. Tall and handsome do not necessarily mean abusive, neither do short and homely (as in loveable). Just know them well enough to see their inner beauty. Further more, be the compassionate, and loving individual you want them to be. I wasn’t always the caring and kind individual I should have been but Paul’s kindness rarely wavered. I see those great characteristics in his/our children.
