A true story. Happened this past week to me. :(...happened too much to me over the years and I would pray to Allah for Sabar... Here I am in a local Salvation Army store standing at the counter for minutes...the clerk saw me, held up his finger to signal a minute. I am me...an older white lady in hijab. Up walks a lady same etnic as him and he comes immediately and waits on her. I complained to the asst manager anf then the manager ... both of whom are the same ethnic as the clerk and the lady waited on. It was a day they were having a sale...I am getting hard of hearing due to neurological diseases...the store was extrenely crowded and I could not hear...and If you understand hearing issues then when the person can not hear they themselvs tend to raise their voice. I did not cuss or yell i felt but was asking why I was ignored when I had stood there so long. And told them they need training with their employees concerning preferring and wait ing on people over others...etc... these idiots called the police on me for claiming discrimination and yelling at the manager. Wowzers !! Here I am all my life NEVER had the police called on me well except one time frommy ex husbands wife for stalking which was og course a false charge. Lol. The police came...told the man there was no crine and asked him why I was treated so badly lollllll. Saga might be continuing.
