A vacant post in TENDELA COMMUNITY CARE ORGANISATION POST: SITE FACILITATOR SALARY : R6713 PER MONTH REQUIREMENTS: Grade 12 Possession of appropriate recognized Diploma in Child & Youth Care Work/ Community Development/Social Auxiliary Work or an Equivalent Qualification. HIV/AIDS Counselling Certificate (Minimum 10 Days) Computer Literacy in Ms Word, Ms Excel, Outlook Knowledge of Legislation and Policies governing Child and Family Care & HIV/AIDS Skills as well as Financial Management Prescripts The Ability to Network with the relevant role-players / stakeholders is of prime importance. One(1) to two (2) years experience in Community Home Based Care Programme (HCBC) Valid Drivers License will be an added advantage. SKILLS *Basic Counselling *Negotiation , Mediation, Verbal& Writing Skills *Communication skills in Both isiZulu &English Planning skills *Good Interpersonal skills *Monitoring and Evaluation skills DUTIES *Develop and Implement programmes that fulfil the mandate of TCCO in addressing vulnerable groups in the community. *Ensure provision of psycho social support to target group. *Represent TCCO in district liaison /NPO forums, Traditional Leadership meetings, Stakeholders forums and local AIDS Council. *Ensure all reports are submitted to DSD and other funders timeously. *Implement Fund Raising programme and liaise prospective donors. *Implement information service for social support. *Liaise with community caregivers to ascertain distribution of food parcels and distribute monthly food parcels . *Provide effective communication channel between DSD and other government department and TCCO management committee. *Handling TCCO correspondence relating to DSD and donors.
