A vapor, a fog, a mist! It seems like yesterday that my lil girl was a chubby little 1 year old running around getting into everything. She was always daddys little girl yet was always so girly. It didnt matter how manly of a project I was doing, she always wanted to do it with me. Heck we even built a dirt track race car together...I drove it & she was my passenger and we even one a race one time. Sometimes she was stubborn & defiant just to show me she could be. If I said it was black she would say it was white just to argue. And other times, she wouldnt have to say a word, I just knew, there was no other place she would rather be than with her daddy. But then one day like a flash of light I looked & she had grown up. Before I knew it she was married & moving away. What !?! Dang, she was just a little chubs a hoy baby girl yesterday, where did the time go? Listen guys... Life is fast, slow down so you can enjoy it. I promise you that your children WANT to spend time with you. Theyre really do. I understand life gets hectic & chaotic but you MUST make time for your family, it is an absolute MUST! The work will still be there tomorrow, but your kids wont. Sometimes we need to ask ourself, who admires you more...your spouse & children…OR your job & friends? I am VERY aware that we need to work, but remember, we work to live, NOT live to work. Listen, Im not trying to make you feel guilty, what Im trying to do is make you understand is that our life is just a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away. (James 4:14)
