Im so happy youre here to learn about Reiki :) Maybe youre just looking for some additional information before you decide if Reiki is right for you...or maybe youre a Reiki practitioner who wants to reinforce what youve already learned. Ive only been practicing Reiki for about three an a half years, but I had soooo many unanswered questions that its been my mission to not only answer my questions, but to help your find your answers as well. I dont have all the answers, but I do have some :) I found Reiki during a time of deep depression and grief over the loss of my companion in September 2009. As I learned more about Reiki, I realized what a great benefit it would have been to both of us during his illness with pancreatic cancer. A huge part of my overall goal is to educate people about the healthful stress relieving and relaxing benefits of Reiki and to help make Reiki a part of the treatment plan for cancer patients and their families in TN. Reiki is a complementary medicine that does not interfere with traditional medical treatment (although it is not recommended as a substitue) and has been used to treat almost every know illness. The most common benefits of Reiki are stress relief and relaxation which help prevent illness as well as trigger the bodys own natural healing abilities. Reiki is becoming more commonly accepted in the medical field and can render wonderful results in helping us maintain our health and balance in ~mind, body, soul and spirit~ Thank you for being here!
