A very dear friend, mentor, and co-worker of mine passed away last week and I have had a rough time with it, understandably so... I have gone through a wave of denial and devastation but I somehow skipped over anger. Today I found anger. LinkedIn, in my opinion a completely useless, waste of time, signed him up to follow a group. Now Ive heard of LinkedIn making moves independently but I never really believed it. I dont really care if LinkedIn did it, or someone did it on his behalf...by mistake. Im angry at stupid technology that does nothing but give a false perception of accomplishment or relevance. Its Bullsh!t. You hear me linkedIn? Youre Bullsh!t. And for those who think its ironic that Im posting this on another ridiculous, useless waste of time ....well youre going to have to work through that one on your own. Im in mourning.
