A very good and trusted friend sent this to me today. God has his way of reminding us to keep our faith through our trials & tribulations in life. Be smart enough to see through the smoke and mirrors people tend to show. If this doesnt apply to you and ypu arent one that starts RUMORS, then you shouldnt be offended or have a negative comment either. Rumor Has It In Nehemiah 6:10-14 (NKJV), we read: Afterward I came to the house of Shemaiah...who was a secret informer; and he said, Let us meet together in the house of God......... Shemaiah was a secret informer. He worked at spreading lies about Nehemiah to try to entrap him. Nehemiah was smart enough not to fall for it. He perceived that God had not sent him (Shemiah) and refused to act on the lies he was spreading. How many of us have made bad decisions based on rumor? How many of us have taken advice from those who said, Rumor has it...? Make Gods Word the final authority in your life. Dont depend upon the rumor mill for encouragement or direction. The only thing rumor has is your downfall.
