A very good day! Though Adam is still fighting with the infection in his chest and his fever hasnt broke yet, but he is stable and has rested good today. He had an emotional morning. Morphine and nightmares... Then we got the big news and thought we were going and then we werent... then at 4:30, the final word was that we are rolling out at 8:30 am tomorrow! Finally, he had physical therapy today and they started working with him to pull him up to a sitting position! Blessed to have a great friend who rushed home with me to help me pack... for three people to be in 3 different places! Thankful for others who came to visit and show their love and support on the final day at Richland. Thankful that we both have the best employers ever! Thankful as well for the guinea pig foster mom who came by tonight to pick up Dot & Molly. I will be forever grateful to the most amazing people at Richland. Nurses like Nicki and Kim and the RT, Neil are amazing and caring people who truly care about their patients. They really make a difference in lives there! Looking forward to the next step on our journey. Thank you all for your continued prayers as rehab will be grueling both physically and mentally for both of us.
