A very interesting situation really opened me up to understanding why most leaders lead in isolation. The anointing is abundantly attractive and when you bless peoples lives they develop close connections with you, and most leaders want to honor that. However, the blessing and burden of friendship requires a level of loyalty that will cause you to go against and give up a lot of things (consider Jonathan who gave up a lot for David). Hence God does not allow most leaders to really settle into friendships (which are divine assignments). God is so kingdom minded that most leaders walk ALONE because EVERY soul matters. Sometimes we have to bless people we dont really care for (consider Jonah and Nineveh) and we may have to bless and pray for others people who feel closely connected to us dont care for. Saints and friends, understand that God is all inclusive with souls. Ministry is not a friendship competition. You cant take sole ownership over an anointing! It is Gods ALONE! Everyone deserves access to God if they want it. Prophecy, evangelism, preaching, teaching, etc., are GIFTS FOR THE KINGDOM that know NO boundaries! Understand that no matter how close you feel to leaders/evangelists/prophets/etc around you, they MUST do the will of the LORD! From my heart to yours! I love you all. Personally speaking now: I will never cease to do the will of the LORD first, but I love everyone nonetheless! I want to always be available to give whatever the LORD has to WHOEVER He has it for. I value EVERY connection, but above all I have to handle Gods business. Be blessed & encouraged!
