A very large constellation, Cygnus is bordered by Cepheus to the north and east, Draco to the north and west, Lyra to the west, Vulpecula to the south, Pegasus to the southeast and Lacerta to the east. Several nights combined to one album, total exposure time for the 6 pictures is roughly 48 Hrs or two days. All have been shot with the legendairy APO refractor Takahashi FSQ 106N, the Atik 11000 fullframe (35mm) CCD monochrome camara, and filters used by Baader. Ha35 80% + 20% Luminance for the Luminance channel, and RGB and Narrowband O3, S2 and Ha7 to add more kick and contrast to the pictures. The most pleasing to photograph is the faint Veil Nebula. Due to heavy light polution i am restricted to use Ha35 filters in combination with Clear or Luminance filters to get the deatail back into the picture. Imaging is done with the native software of Atik (Artemis capture), guiding with Astroart or PHD, and planatairy software for aligning and scop control Carte du Ciel. (Skyshart) All is pre-processed, stack rigistered and combined to Ha-RGB with Pixinsight. Post processing is completely done in Pixinsight.
