A very long, but productive day starting with meeting the window washer (Crosbys Clean Windows-great job!) at the new studio at 8am, walking across the street to Roasters Coffee for iced coffee, leaving a poster and a few business cards, unexpectedly meeting my new landlord back at the studio (and having a nice long chat about many things including the fun tricks he has played on people since his name is Ronald McDonald and no he wasnt in that commercial and how he couldnt imagine a music studio going into a space that used to be leased by a financial planner but now he thinks it turned out really nice and is a good idea), and having a followup live interview with a prospective voice teacher (after yesterdays phone interview) that ended up with me hiring baritone Tyler Kruse to teach voice starting in September, and odd-and-ends studio shopping at OfficeDepot (papercutter, markers) and BigLots (folding chairs). Phew! I think Im gonna be ready for the studio open house on Saturday. All we need now are new students! :-) Magnolia Music Studio-RiverWalk #Ifyoubuildittheywillcome
