A very vigorous Friday morning HELLO to you wonderful people, A date for you to consider for your diaries here: I really think this will be a bloody excellent evening. Whether youre a massive fan of the sport like me or a more casual participant, north London distance running guru Ben Pochee is breaking his back to put together a really cracking evening of sport. The A-races will be the AAA 10,000m Championships; they will be the cream of the UK crop battling it out for selection for the European Championships and a historic championship crown. There will be a great big video screen that Ben has wangled at great expense and isnt entirely sure how to work. There will be live music. There will no doubt be some recorded music. There will be beer. We will be able to get right up close to the action on the track - this is not your football-stadium-100-miles-from-the-action nonsense - and we will make a lot of noise. Probably a few beers in the pub afterwards to toast the resurgence at every level of our wonderful sport too. Lets get excited for a big summer of running.
