A virus whose capacity is the reanimation of dead cells, has been unleashed in a research center. The Umbrella Corporation know this, so he sends a team to find out why the Red Queen (the computer that controls the whole research center honeycomb) killed everyone inside, unaware that the virus turns the living into the undead. Spencer kills the zombie, leaves the room and locks him, heading for the train to inject the virus, but the licker arrives and infects devouring. Suddenly the door opens the room where they were Alice, Matt and Rain and she leaves behind Kaplan. The four are heading to the train that took them back to the Spencer mansion. Alice is the case with the antivirus near the body of Spencer and into the train, which gives them a dose of virus to Kaplan and Rain (in whom he had no effect due to the time elapsed since infection).
