A volunteer writes: As soon as I met Ritz I started humming the old Irving Berlin tune that Fred Astaire made famous, Puttin on the Ritz. I can see our Ritz fitting in with high society as shes long legged and elegant....a glamour girl with a wagging tail, good energy and a loving nature. Likely housetrained she went as soon as we were out the door and then pulls hard on the leash so will benefit from some leash training. Off leash in the backyard she sits when I ask her to, takes treats super gently, and wags her tail in happy greeting to a dog in an adjoining pen. Ritz loves people, happily greeting staff she knows, cuddling close with me and giving me soft kisses. She leans in for petting, putting her head in my lap, closing her eyes as I pet her. Not interested in a ball or a toy, she was happiest when engaging with me, and with another dog. Our high society girl is looking for an active home where shell get lots of play time followed up with lots of love. Shes looking forward to snuggling with you and watching her movie on Netflix......Lets get her home today!
