A warm front will pass through the Twin Tiers tonight with mostly cloudy skies and the chance for sprinkles. Overnight temperatures will drop into the mid and upper 30s. The weather wont be an issue this Election Day. Partly sunny skies are expected along with temperatures about 10 degrees above average. The 5 Degree Guarantee is 64. A cold front will bring more clouds our way towards evening with scattered showers overnight. Rainfall amounts will be light with only a few hundredths of an inch expected. Early clouds and isolated showers Wednesday will give way to partly sunny skies. Temperatures will only be slightly cooler with highs in the mid to upper 50s. A more impressive storm system will arrive from the Ohio Valley on Thursday with cloudy skies and showers. Colder temperatures will wrap in behind the system on Friday with the potential for some wet snow to mix in with the rain. Rainfall amounts will likely average near half an inch. The storm system will lift to the north on Saturday with lingering clouds, but mainly dry conditions for us. Temperatures will remain below average with highs in the mid 40s. Another storm system could bring more mixed rain and snow showers Sunday into early next week. Precipitation amounts are expected to be on the light side.
