A wee reminder that a community consultation meeting to discuss funding for rural community projects takes place from 7.30pm - 9pm this evening, Thursday 24 April, at West Calder Community centre. The new LEADER European-funded programme for rural development in West Lothian is consulting over its priorities for the next seven years. Between 2007 and 2013, West Lothian LEADER funded rural community projects to the tune of £1.41 million, building community facilities, training young people, funding financial inclusion projects, tourism initiatives, environmental improvement programmes, and much more. If you’re interested in having your say please come along to the meeting. LEADER funding is available for projects in West Lothian’s rural areas (excludes Livingston, Broxburn, Bathgate, Linlithgow and Whitburn). For fuller information, contact [email protected]
