A weight loss tip that works for Kevin!: You have heard that breakfast is the most important meal of the day? I certainly agree and especially when it comes to boosting my metabolism. I eat breakfast every morning immediately after I awake. I visualize my metabolism as something like a wood burning stove. While I’m sleeping my metabolic rate slows down, just like a fire burns down to embers. When I arise I need to get a log on that fire, to keep it ignited, and before it burns out. To keep my metabolism raging I feed it smaller amounts of fuel, and more often, over the course of my day. I think of carbohydrates as gasoline and protein as logs. When I eat carbohydrates I get a quick burn, and I find myself hungry again, and much sooner than when I eat protien. You have to eat to loose weight. ;)
