A while ago, I was contact by Corinthian Colleges (CCi) Careers to come be their Chief Operation Officer and run their campuses across the United States. After interviewing, they offered me a $600,000+ compensation package (I still have offer letter in my email) and I DECLINED the job offer! Why? I didnt believe in their mission. Guys STOP going to these for profit colleges (Corinthian, Everest University Online, University of Phoenix etc)! The degrees that they offer dont hold water with 90% of corporate employers. Less than 30% of their TOTAL student population graduates. On top of that, their students walk away with over $40,000+ in debt for a $30,000 a year job. Do your due diligence on the colleges you are attending. As an Executive Vice-President in Corporate American, I make the hiring decision for six figure jobs. I look at where an applicant graduated from. Im TELLING YOU that your school makes a difference!
