A while back I had been to WalMart and found a bin of movies for 2.96. What I found was two sets of movies bound together. One set had four movies featuring Sean Connery (1), Burt Reynolds (2) and Charles Bronson (1) but the second set was 20 Film Horror Set Vol. 1. Yeah, I got 24 movies for three bucks, sweet. Now this 20 movie set took me a while to go through even though I already had a few of them: Passed the Door of Darkness, Live Animals, Bloody Mary*, Cruel World, The Haunting of Marsten House, Bachelor Party in the Bungalow of the Damned*, Fist of the Vampire*, Inside, Mortuary*, Night Shadow, Cursed*, Darkness*, The Gingerdead Man 3*, Howling IV, Paranormal Entity*, Ghost Stories 1, 2, 3, 4 and The Nurse. The asterix indicates movies I already had. There are various good, bad and WTF in this set but Im not complaining since it only cost a buck fifty and tax. I havent watched the action movie set so I cant say whether the other buck fifty was good or bad. But I highly suggest that you always check these movie sets out. Yeah, there are a lot of strange games with misplaced sequels in some of them but I have found worthy entertainment among the not-quite-so-worthy. For 3 dollars there were a few repeats and a couple of stinkers and four I havent seen yet in the other set but not a bad haul for three hundred pennies and the tax mans cut.
