A while back I spent some time shadowing a Principal at La Follette - MMSD Principal of the Day Program. That day I meant with some of these kids, they were very excited about this program. Their excitement came from understanding the underlying pain/problem at the root of undesirable behavior. I was moved by the insight this gave these kids and the maturity they displayed. This is a good program. I wasnt sure if you knew a restorative justice program was working at La Follette or caught this article in the CapTimes and I wanted to share good news:)
