A woman visited my studio today and spent several minutes enjoying my art. In studying how she was responding to my paintings, I asked her “are you an artist?” … She responded … “no, but my nephew is and it was he who made me appreciate what this is all about”. “What this is all about” …… I was ‘wonder-stricken’ that this small and simple phrase was so profoundly accurate. … And those words will ever echo in my mind.
