A word from an ancient form of Persian for the walls of a garden, - TopicsExpress

A word from an ancient form of Persian for the walls of a garden, pairidaēza, was translated by Xenophon into Greek to mean not just the walls, but the garden itself, as paradeisos (which was the word used in the Septuagint to refer to Eden). What else is a baseball field but a walled garden? Therefore, baseball fields are, if nothing else, an analogue of this definition of paradise. Q.E.D., Baseball is next to Godliness. I knew... most of that already, but I should probably cite my source and thank them for the reminders.
