A word of advice! Before you get a dog, I think you should think it through. Not that you shouldnt, but there are unintended consequences and in order to take care of one properly, there are several things to do. Today was Goofys bath, ear cleaning, ordering of eye and more blood pressure meds, plus a run to the dog food store to get the kind of chow he likes - which is canned on top of dry food. Every time he drinks, he splashes water all over the floor, then he has to pee. Every time he eats, he has to be taken for a walk to poop. Consider all these things carefully. Dogs dont take care of themselves! And the consequences for you will be a lot of time and patience given to something that no matter how much you do, doesnt quite smell all that good. xo Goofys mom
